As with anywhere, location costs, so a sea view will always be at a premium. Buying property varies widely, with prices higher in Palma and popular coastal or tourist areas. In contrast, inland offers more value for money. The cost of housing in Mallorca is higher than in other regions due to supply and demand.
• Utilities: Basic utilities for a standard apartment (electricity, heating, cooling, water, and garbage) typically cost around €100 to €150 per month. Internet services average around €40 per month.
• Groceries and Dining: Although grocery prices have gone up in the last year or so, they are generally reasonable, especially for seasonal and local produce. Dining out can be affordable if you choose wisely. A main meal at mid-range restaurants costs around €15 to €20 per person, while a three-course meal at a higher-end restaurant will be more like €50 to €60 per person or more. These prices don’t include drinks.

However, buying a car in Mallorca costs more than in mainland Spain. Depending on your purchase, you can save as much as €4000 – €5000 here.

You will also find that living in Mallorca, the outlook is entirely different from where you came from, as no one has their lifelong network of friends and family around them, so they need to make more effort with new connections, and this really shows.
