History & Cultural Significance of Deia
Deià has been a popular location for artists since the early 20th century, largely thanks to British poet and writer Robert Graves, who made the village his home. His former home is now a museum, giving insight into the life and works of one of Mallorca’s most famous residents. Today, the village still retains its bohemian charm, with a mix of locals, creatives, and affluent visitors.
