The Best Rooftop Bars In Palma Mallorca

Palma is unsurprisingly well known as the Capital of the Balearics. With such incredible views in and around the city, it lends itself perfectly to a rooftop bar. Many boast views of the never-ending crystal clear blue waters of the Mediterranean, incredible architecture, including Palma Cathedral, the Port, or the old town of Palma, and a perfect climate to match. Palma really does have some of Europe’s best rooftop bars.

For me, there’s always been something special about a rooftop bar, the elevated position, with great drinks, tunes to set the mood and views to take the breath away. There’s quite a selection, including cosy terraces and rooftop lounges, often set around a rooftop pool. So, here are my twelve best epic rooftop bars, a must-visit in the summer months of Mallorca, the perfect location to enjoy a cocktail and admire the vista with a variety of atmospheres to choose from.

Sky Nudos

Located in the heart of the Moll Vell development on the Port of Palma. An urban oasis combining the most incredible backdrop, the Port of Palma, coastline to Portixol & Palma Cathedral. For me, my go-to rooftop bar and the first one I always recommend, with the best view of the Palma skyline, combines a modern and natural vibe with private booths and a chilled bar area. Great tunes and fantastic cocktails. A great sunset spot with Mar De Nudos Restaurant.

Almaq Rooftop

Like many of the best rooftop bars, Almaq is located above one of Palma’s luxury hotels. In this case the Hotel Es Princep in Calatrava. A spacious and stylish rooftop bar, combining the bar and the luxurious rooftop swimming pool. Although the pool is exclusively for hotel guests, there’s still plenty of room for a bar lounge, making the most of the views of Palma’s Old Town and the stunning Mediterranean. A chilled daytime atmosphere makes way for the high-energy evening vibe. With crafted cocktails, wines, and cervezas on offer combined with burgers and fresh light salads.

C the Rooftop at El Llorenc Hotel

Again, above one of Palma’s top hotels is an incredible multi-level rooftop bar. With an iconic combination of vistas of the stunning blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea and Palma Cathedral. There is a separate terrace deck housing the infinity pool, exclusively available for hotel guests, combined with two levels of bar and restaurant open for all to enjoy.  The restaurant offers international cuisine combined with a fantastic array of cocktails, making this a must-visit on your summer visit to Palma.

Terracotta at Hotel Antigua Palma

Housed above a stunning 17^th century Boutique Hotel. The roof terrace has a very relaxed feel, with an eclectic mix of comfy furniture, local Mediterranean plants, and views over Sant Francesc, giving a true feel of the history of Palma. Food is available throughout the day and combined with an excellent wine selection of, of course, great cocktails.

Sky Bar at Hotel Almudaina

Located just off Avenida de Jaume III and above Hotel Almundaina. One of the city’s most relaxed rooftop bars. It boasts glorious views of the Mediterranean, Palma Cathedral, and much of the historic old town. With a small, easy-to-miss entrance, this hidden gem is very reasonably priced, combining the views, chilled music, excellent cocktails, and a tasty international menu.

Sky Bar at Hotel Hostel Cuba

Boasting fantastic views of the Port of Palma & Palma Cathedral. Located in the vibrant Santa Catalina area. A simple modern terrace, the bar is known for its excellent cocktails, which I can certainly vouch for! It’s also a great spot for breakfast if the mood takes you, included for hotel guests or 20 € for non residents.

Singular Rooftop Terrace

With 360-degree views of Palmas Old Town, a stylish rooftop bar, a stunning swimming pool, and excellent cocktails, this is your classic rooftop bar. It is located above the beautiful Sant Francesc Hotel Singular. The rooftop is exclusive to hotel guests in the daytime but open to all at night. We very much enjoyed the cocktails on our visit, but there’s also an excellent wine list and bar bites available.

Beatnik Palma by Puro

Located above the Purohotel Palma, the rooftop bar is an extension of the hotel, with a modern and contemporary style throughout. The rooftop links in with the indoor parts of the bar and restaurant, creating a multi-level rooftop summer destination with great views of the old town of Palma, tasty dishes, cocktails, and great music.

Katagi Blau

Located in Playa de Palma, boasting stunning views of the bay of Palma. The restaurant has a real Asian influence in the décor combined with a vertical garden. An award-winning Asian Restaurant, having won the Best Asian Fusion Cuisine Restaurant in 2019 & 2020. It skilfully combines Mallorcan & Asian Cuisine, combined with fantastic signature cocktails.

The Upper Club Mallorca

It is located a little out of Palma on the front at S’Arenal Beach. If you’re looking for an exclusive rooftop party spot, then this is it. The funky rooftop and terrace literally glow in the night sky, a great high-energy spot to enjoy with friends, bottle service, epic cocktails, and some of the best female DJs on the island.

Origin, Palma nova

A little left field as is located on the promenade of Palma Nova, around 20 minutes from the center of Palma. It’s well worth a mention as the views are no less stunning, of the bay. A hidden oasis filled with lush plants, Palm Trees, and natural woods. With more of a restaurant feel than a bar. The menu is excellent, with small plates, fresh seafood, and local meats on offer. Combined with a great cocktail menu and an array of fantastic wines.
